Best melee, weapons to find, upgrade, use in Flintlock TSOD

The "Souls-lite" action role-playing game Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (TSOD) by A44 Games offers a variety of weaponry for the player to find and upgrade. In this article, we’ll share the list of best weapons to use in Flintlock TSOD.

Best Weapons, Melee Weapons, How To Find, Upgrade, Use, Flintlock, FTSOD
- Judge's Hammer: you should always carry melee weapons in Flintlock TSOD, and we recommend using one for armored enemies—those with the gray health bar. The armor penetrating status effect of the Judge's Hammer, which can be found in the City of Writ, makes it ideal for the former.

- Harbinger’s Axe: you can find this weapon in the early hours of the game. Although it doesn't deal as much damage as Nor's core axe, the longer-lasting fire effect more than makes up for it. These two serve all the way through to the end of the game.

Though the selection of weaponry is limited, it's still advisable to exercise caution when using crafting resources in the beginning. Spend as much money as possible on Nor's default weapons, the Musket and the Pistol, which are helpful throughout the game. However, it's worthwhile to complete the first map to gather new weapons and find what's available before using all that wood and iron.

In armor, we switch between different sets depending on when we require certain Synergy bonuses.

While the Sunderer's Pauldron set teleports you when dodging, allowing you to breathe for a few more frames when you're up close with an enemy, the Sapper's Pauldron set earns extra black powder when you attack an enemy, making it beneficial for cautious Gunslingers. When you have the freedom to retreat and deploy those missiles, the Sapper's Pauldron set is ideal for general use. The Sunderer's Pauldron set works best for boss battles in more enclosed arenas.
