Riot Games pleasantly surprises us with new game modes, characters, and features in every League of Legends (LoL) update. With the release of the new PvE mode Swarm this summer, you were able to experience something different. Players had a great time with this new game mode, which left a lasting memory.
The Swarm mode, which debuted in July 2024 during patch 14.14, pleased players by revealing a new gameplay mechanic and a distinct genre within the Riot Games universe. But good things always come to an end, and Swarm is no exception. As is typical with the many LoL game modes, including One For All, URF, or Arena, the Swarm game mode will in fact soon end. If you like the League of Legends Swarm mode, be aware that it will soon be removed from Riot Games' launcher. The mode will end on the evening of August 19–20, Monday. Therefore, if you need to complete a few missions to get 100%, do them quickly!
Nevertheless, Riot Games can bring the mode back online whenever they see fit. As we've seen with Arena, URF... Along with being directly inspired by the Riotian universe, the Swarm game mode has also been highly received by players who have loved exploring the pleasures of a new genre.
Moreover, developers can choose to remove the game mode while they work on adding new features, maps, or characters, but this process requires time. The Rioters have not yet made any announcement regarding the mode's return.What is Swarm on League of Legends? In League of Legends, Swarm is a cooperative, narrative-driven PvE mode where players team together to battle the Primordians. This mode gives players a fresh take on League of Legends by emphasizing teamwork and story exploration.
