Hide, install and delete Apps in Private Space Android 15

With Android 15, you may set up a private space on your phone where you can hide specific apps so others won't be able to access them. 

One of Android 15's new features is the Private Space. Installing apps on it prevents strangers from seeing or using them on your phone. You must first set up a screen lock (PIN, pattern, or biometric authentication method) in order to set up the function. After that, turn on the Private Space as shown below:

- Open the settings .

- Tap “Privacy &  security” > “ Private space ”.

- Unlock your device, tap “Set up”.

- You have the option to either create a new Google account for personal use or select "Skip" located at the bottom left.

- After that, you can choose to unlock the Private Space using your current unlock method or a different one.

How to install Apps in Android's Private Space? Following the activation process, you can access and add new apps to Android's Private Space. These apps will then be hidden from others.

- To access your Private Space, first open the app drawer, which is the overview of all apps. Pull the bottom bar upward to accomplish this.

- Scroll down, tap the new lock icon at the bottom right and unlock your device.

- To install a new app in the Private Space, tap the "Install Apps" icon located under "Private." In order to accomplish this task, you will need to sign in with a Google account.

- You can then start this app from there

- A key symbol appears underneath the majority of Google Apps. This means that you can start them in the Private Space.

- Apps from the Private Space are treated like standalone apps 

- For example, Android 15 recognizes the YouTube app as two independent programs that you can switch between if you open it normally and then start it again from the Private Space.

How to lock Private Space automatically? Unless you manually unlock it each time, your Private Space will by default only be locked again after you restart your device. Nevertheless, you may configure it to lock automatically every time you lock your device or after every five minutes. To setup this under "Settings" > "Privacy & Security" > "Private Space" > "Automatically lock Private Space."

How to delete or remove Private Space? If you decide you no longer need the Private Space then you can delete it by following these steps. All of the apps you have installed in this area will be automatically removed by doing this. 

- To do this, tap “Settings” > “Privacy & Security” > “Private Space” > “Delete Private Space ”.

- Tap the “Delete” button at the bottom right.

- Unlock your device to confirm.
